We have two guest speakers for our first meeting in 2009. Don Zech of CDC Commercial Real Estate will give us the overview of the economic downturn in 2008 and his insight as to what will happen in 2009. Over the years Don has been one of the most insightful and dynamic speakers we have. He will help us to plan for the changes that are upon us.
In addition we have Dick Daniels from the Escondido City Council to fill us in on priorities of the City. His topic is “City Update & Goals for 2009”. Please check out the City web site for important meetings regarding the Water Wastewater rate increase which will go to the City Council on January 14, 2009.
In addition there will be updates on economic development and the plans of the EVA for 2009.
